Infection prevention and control resources from the North Yorkshire and York Community Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Team have received great acclaim, meet the CQC’s exacting standards and promote best practice.
We have developed a suite of IPC resources to make CQC compliance simple for General Practice to assist with meeting CQC registration requirements and achieve compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008: Code of Practice on the prevention and control of infections and related guidance, including:
- A set of ‘Community IPC Policies for General Practice’
- The ‘Preventing Infection Workbook: Guidance for General Practice’
- An ‘IPC CQC inspection preparation Pack for General Practice’
We’re proud to have produced these IPC resources. They are regularly updated to reflect the ever-changing field of infection prevention and control and relevant national guidance.
